What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right? Win or lose at the casinos, the Strip is the place to party to your heart’s desire. So, grab your friends and put on your dance shoes because Las Vegas nightclubs are not to be missed. With the world’s most-loved DJs and the hottest crowds, these epic parties are what Sin City is all about! But, with every resort housing at least one or two nightclubs, choosing the right one is no easy task. Here we give you our curated list of the top ten nightclubs in Vegas. Enjoy!
1. Hakkasan at MGM Grand
While relatively new to the Strip, this nightclub has set the standard by which every other nightclub in Vegas is measured. This place is in! Home to the world’s best DJs—Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Steve Aioki, and many more—the turntables are lit and the sound system is state-of-the-art. The Hakkasan is a massive night club with five levels of entertainment. The first and second levels house a fine-dining Chinese restaurant; the third level is the main dance floor; and the fourth is home to Ling Ling Lounge, a pavilion featuring a garden bar and a two-story water feature. At the very top of the Hakkasan, providing an area for VIP guests and larger groups, is the private mezzanine. If you have spending money, this is the nightclub for you! If not, stop by for one drink and check it off your bucket list.
2. XS Nightclub at Encore- Wynn
XS is short for “excess” and that is what this nightclub is all about. An opulent staircase, gold-lined walls, and a huge chandelier welcome you to a luxurious partying experience you will not be able to resist. Home to DJs like the Chainsmokers, Drake, and David Guetta, the party can get hot and crowded, but never dull. Splurge for bottle service or a cabana by the outside pool area. And don’t miss their Nightswim parties on summer nights!
3. OMNIA at Caesars Palace
If you want to party at the largest of all the nightclubs in Vegas under a 22,000 lbs. kinetic chandelier that produces theatrical lightning effects to the rhythms of hip hop and top-40s music, OMNIA is the nightclub for you. This over-the-top space is designed to look like a European opera house where the middle of the dance floor, the Heart of OMNIA, is actually a “club within a club,” and the rooftop garden offers partyers some fresh air and spectacular views of the Strip. So, see and be seen like Justin Bieber who celebrated his 21st birthday here and party the night away under the massive chandelier light show.
4. Drai’s at the Cromwell
Take one look at their event calendar and you’ll see that Drai’s is serious about its live-music events. This is one nightclub that focuses on quality; dance to the likes of Iggy Azalea, Lil Wayne, and Nikki Minaj, enjoy the drinks and party favors, and dance indoors or outdoors at the pool bar. Located at the rooftop of the Cromwell, a boutique hotel in the Strip, Drai’s offers fabulous views and decadent services such as jet charters and top-shelf champagne. And if you want to keep the party going into morning ours, check out Drai’s After Hours, a smaller venue in the basement of the Cromwell, for partiers who are never quite ready to go to bed.
5. 1 OAK at the Mirage
Its name is short for “one of a kind” and, while it has sister venues in New York City and Los Angeles, it definitely does its best to make every patron feel special. According to its website it envisions bringing a “unique combination of art, fashion, and celebrity-status” to the nightclub world. If you want to party at the 1 OAK at the Mirrage, you must not wait too long tough, because the venue that brought “one of a kind entertainment” to Vegas partyers in 2011 is set to close its doors at the end of this March, 2020.
6. TAO at the Venetian
This nightclub is well known as a celebrity hot spot. The TAO at the Venetian is a Vegas institution where Madonna, Bono, Jay-Z, and the Kardashians party when in Sin City, alongside its infamous bathtub models immersed in rose petal baths. The venue includes three full-service bars, one main dance floor and eight private skyboxes for VIP guests to look down on the party below. You’ll find patrons celebrating their birthday parties, bachelor parties, and even divorce parties! As it says in their website, “TAO specializes in epic celebrations no matter the occasion. No life moment is too small!”
7. Encore Beach Club at Encore- Wynn
Whether it’s day or night, the party is always more fun by the beach! Of course, being in the Las Vegas desert, the beach is a swanky 60,000 square feet venue with 40-foot palm trees and three tiered pools. At the Encore Beach Club the pool is always open for swimming, which means the dress code is super casual unlike most of the other Vegas nightclubs. So, rent your own private cabana or bungalow, or sit pool-side for great drinks, music, and even a few blackjack tables to test your luck!
8. Marquee at the Cosmopolitan
Party all day every day at this multifaceted venue. There is a pool-side dayclub, the Marquee nightclub with its main dance floor and house-music DJs, the Boom Box which is a smaller alternative dance club, and the Library for VIP guests. There is something for everyone at the Marquee! Consider it your go-to party station.
9. Light at the Mandalay Bay
The Light gives you a full entertainment experience unlike any other. Purchasing a ticket to Light not only provides entry but complimentary cocktail drinks until midnight, a dance party with top-tier DJs, and an acrobatic show á la Cirque du Soleil. Yes, that is as amazing as it sounds! What can be more over-the-top than tearing up the dance floor while acrobats dangle from the ceiling? Think Moulin Rouge with house music and modern technology.
10. Jewel at the ARIA
From the creators of Hakkasan nightclub and OMNIA comes this Jewel. A bit smaller and intimate than the other two, but standing very proud. The dance floor is surrounded by wall-to-ceiling LED video screens that sync with the music as well as five themed VIP suites with custom amenities and leather upholstery. This night club is simply flawless; a true jewel in the Strip.
Whether you try one or all ten party clubs, remember that Vegas’s extravagant fun does not run cheap. Entry tickets average between twenty and forty dollars for women, and almost double the price for men. Drinks can be expensive too, especially bottles since “bottle service” usually means you’ll get a table and more exclusive attention and amenities. Remember also to dress according to the special occasion that is a celebration in Vegas. Most nightclub websites clearly state that they do not allow hats, flip-flops, or sandals, and prefer you looking your best. So, dress up before hitting the Strip and get ready to party ‘til the sun comes out!
